KDG Support LLC is led by Katie Garcia, an accomplished HR strategist and advocate with a decade of experience.

Katie is an award-winning HR strategist, small business advocate, and military spouse leader with over a decade of experience in human resources, compliance, and workforce development. She is the President and CEO of KDG Support LLC, a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) HR consulting firm specializing in fractional HR, executive search, and strategic workforce solutions for public agencies, nonprofits, and growing businesses.

Katie’s expertise spans a wide range of HR functions, including organizational design, employee relations, compliance audits, compensation structuring, and diversity hiring initiatives. She has supported clients across industries—ranging from healthcare and government to service-based businesses and manufacturing—developing agile people strategies tailored to the unique challenges of lean teams and evolving workplaces.

As a proud Navy spouse, Katie is also a nationally recognized advocate for veteran and military spouse hiring. She is the author of Empowering Military Talent: A Step-by-Step Guide to Building Successful Veteran & Military Spouse Hiring Initiatives, and the recipient of the 2024 HR Florida Spirit of Patriotism Award for her contributions to advancing military-connected employment opportunities.

Katie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Regent University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Centenary University. She is SHRM-CP certified and an active member of the Space Coast HR Association, where she has served in multiple leadership roles, including Program Chair and Certification Chair. She also co-leads the Military Spouse Professional Network – Space Coast and regularly presents at SHRM-affiliated and government workforce conferences across the U.S.
